Work completed on 4th December at Woodbridge. The project consisted of turning a derelict boatyard into a £15m development which features a replica of the Sutton Hoo Anglo-Saxon burial ship. The redevelopment also includes apartments, a restaurant and a new home for Woodbridge Museum.
The redevelopment was split over 2 sites; the Nunns Mill site comprising the construction of 7 3-bed town houses, 4 2-bed apartments and ground floor commercial units along with associated external works, and the Whisstocks site including the community boat shed and heritage buildings with a mezzanine level, 6 2-bed and 8 3-bed apartments with commercial units on the ground floor, a restaurant unit on two levels and associated external works including flood prevention measures.
