Negotiated contract based on JCT D&B with amendments. The contract included an enabling works demolition contract with several party wall matters on all 4 sides of the site. The scheme also involved negotiations with Sainsbury’s for the lettable space on the ground floor of the main block. The scheme was completed within budget and opened in September 2016 ready for the 2016-2017 academic year.
