Old Gramophone Works

Old Gramophone Works will deliver a significant new commercial hub for small and medium businesses and a new semi-public space linking together roads in the area, which required extensive engagement with the local community. We are appointed as Project Managers and Cost Consultants to refurbish and extend the existing 35,414ft2 (GIA) building to provide an office development of 88,016ft2 (GIA), comprising 1,119ft2 (NIA) of cafe and 62,253ft2 (NIA) of B1 office space within the new 6-storey proposal. The extension element is comprised of Glulam / CLT.

Phase 1: 20,000 sqft of Office & Communal Space
Phase 2: 65,000 sqft of Contemporary Workspace

The scheme promotes the reuse of the existing fabric and new sustainable building technologies with extensive sustainability credentials. Once completed it will be the largest CLT and Glulam Office building in Europe. Once completed, the Old Gramophone Works will be the largest CLT and Glulam Office building in Europe. The project won the Environmental Prize Winner at New London Awards 2021.
